Giving 25 Computers a Second Life: Our Commitment to Sustainability and Social Inclusion
At Europea de Titulización, we believe that small actions can make a positive impact on society. That is why we have donated 25 computers to Asociación Cultural La Kalle, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting social inclusion, education and employment opportunities for vulnerable young people.
The computers, which had been decommissioned from our inventory, will now be given a second life thanks to the work of this organisation, helping to promote the circular economy, reduce electronic waste and improve access to technology.
La Kalle: Technology at the Service of People
Asociación Cultural La Kalle has been working for four decades in the Madrid neighbourhood of Vallecas, developing educational, social and employment integration programmes aimed particularly at young people and individuals at risk of social exclusion.
One of its key initiatives is Reutiliza.K, a social and circular economy project that promotes the refurbishment and reuse of IT equipment while providing training and professional development opportunities for vulnerable young people.
Its work demonstrates how technology can become a powerful tool for social transformation, helping to bridge the digital divide, improve employability and contribute to a more responsible consumption model.
Our Commitment Goes Beyond Our Business Activities
At Europea de Titulización, we believe that corporate responsibility also means making conscious use of our resources and contributing positively to the communities in which we operate.
Through this donation, we aim to support an initiative that brings together values that are important to us: responsibility, commitment to people, respect for the environment and collaboration with organisations working towards a more inclusive society.
We would like to thank La Kalle for its dedication and the valuable work it carries out, transforming resources that are no longer in use into new opportunities for people.
